This FAQ was written based on the US version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse for the PS4. Its main focus is on each character's move list, how to earn all of the trophies, and how to clear each of the modes.

Introduction

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is the 1st game of the Dragon Ball franchise to be released on the next gen consoles, PS4 and Xbox One. It is also available on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Xenoverse has a 3D fighting game style similar to that of the Budokai Tenkaichi games and Raging Blast games and is the 3rd game to feature character creation, after Online and Ultimate Tenkaichi. In fact, the plot of Xenoverse seems to tie together with that of Online due to the concept of time travel and returning characters, Time Patrol Future Trunks, Kaioshin of Time, Towa, and Mira.

Below are lists of the 3 different battle control settings for Xenoverse on the PS4, as well as on the PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. The PC's control settings are based on if you are using an Xbox 360 controller to play the game since you can assign any action to any key on your keyboard if you are using that.

Recommended Control Settings

The default control settings are Type A but I recommend using the Type C settings for the sake of better placement of specific battle functions, particularly those involving movement. However, regardless of which Operation Type that you choose, it will not change what buttons must be pressed to perform each character's super attacks, ultimate attacks, and evasive skill, including those of your created character.

Combo System

Below is a list of all of the possible basic combos that can be performed according to the buttons pressed. The combo list represents the controls on the PS4, as well as on the PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC with the use of an Xbox 360 controller. The 1st Triangle button (or Y button) in each combo is chargeable, except in Combo 1.

Note: Each character in the game, including your created character, uses this same combo setup but the way that their combos execute and look are what vary.

You obtain the 1st after clearing the main story and the 2nd from an NPC named Recon who stands outside the Time Nest in the Plaza of Time. The remaining 3 can be obtained from certain Parallel Quests as drops. Once you have collected all of them, report back to Future Trunks to begin this bonus story.
Heroic Training	Bronze	Completed training with Goku!	You can train with Goku after clearing the main story. Your character must be at least Level 70.

You know that you have gotten a Dragon Ball when you receive a Key Item after defeating a Time Patroller.
Another Bit Of Hope	Bronze	Found Two-Star Ball!	It is random as to which Dragon Ball you get from defeating a Time Patroller. Just keep farming for Dragon Balls and you will eventually get this one.
Grandpa's Memoir	Silver	Found Four-Star Ball!	It is random as to which Dragon Ball you get from defeating a Time Patroller. Just keep farming for Dragon Balls and you will eventually get this one.
The Best Miracle Of The World	Silver	Gathered 7 Dragon Balls and summoned Shenron!	The fastest way to farm for Dragon Balls without wasted effort is to keep playing Parallel Quest 12. A Time Patroller sometimes appears some distance away from you in the 1st area and there are no enemies to fight before him or her. If they do not appear or if they do appear but you do not get a Dragon Ball after defeating them, just pause the game and select retry. Repeat this process until you get all 7.
The Greatest Warriors	Silver	Unlocked all characters and variations!	By clearing the main story, the bonus story, and all of the Parallel Quests, you will unlock all of the characters and their variations except for 3. They are Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, Super 17, and Omega Shenron. To unlock them, you must wish for them using the Dragon Balls. However, you will only unlock 1 character per wish so you will have to collect the Dragon Balls 3 times.
All Around The Universe	Bronze	Visited all stages!	This unlocks automatically as you proceed through the story and Parallel Quests.
For The Sake Of The Future	Bronze	Played Online Battles for the first time!	This can be unlocked by playing any of the different online battle types.
Won't You Dance With Me?	Silver	Played Online Battles 7 times!	This can be unlocked by playing any of the different online battle types. However, I recommend playing Endless Battles to save yourself time and unlock the Endless Battle trophies as well.
A Fight Of Courage And Pride	Silver	Won online 7 times!	This can be unlocked by playing any of the different online battle types. However, I recommend playing Endless Battles to save yourself time and unlock the Endless Battle trophies as well.
Heart-Thumping Encounter	Bronze	Added a Time Patroller to your Favorites List!	This can be done in when you are in Toki Toki City (it does not matter if it is the Single Lobby or Multi Lobby). Simply select another player's character and add them to your Favorites List.
Share Your Energy With Me!	Bronze	Sent a Gift!	You can send gifts to players who you have gone on Parallel Quests with, players who are on your Favorites List, or players who have previously sent you gifts.
I Got A Present For Ya!	Bronze	Received a "Present!"	The odds of receiving a gift from a random player are low so you should ask a friend to send you a gift.
A Fantastic Journey Begins!	Bronze	Cleared 1 Parallel Quest!	You cannot miss this trophy since you a forced to play your 1st Parallel Quest as part of Future Trunks's tutorials.
Proof Of My Courage	Bronze	Cleared 7 Parallel Quests!	This unlocks automatically as you proceed through the Parallel Quests.
Chaos Is Coming!	Bronze	Parallel Quest completion rate is over 50%!	This unlocks automatically as you proceed through the Parallel Quests.
End Of The Century Excitement!	Bronze	Parallel Quest completion rate is over 80%!	This unlocks automatically as you proceed through the Parallel Quests.
Memories Buried In Time	Silver	Cleared all Parallel Quests!	Once you clear all of the Parallel Quests, you will unlock this trophy.
Full Super Power!	Bronze	Gathered all super attacks!	You can obtain skills easily just by purchasing them from the Skills Shop. After clearing each saga, more skills will be added to shop. However, you cannot obtain all of them this way. The remaining skills must be obtained by completing training sessions with masters, clearing Parallel Quests, and making wishes on the Dragon Balls. The training sessions are guaranteed to give you the skills on the 1st try but the Parallel Quests drop skills randomly so you may have to repeatedly play them until you get them all (this is the most time consuming and annoying part of the game). In terms of the wishes, you will need collect the Dragon Balls 4 times because you will need to wish for new super attacks twice and new ultimate attacks twice. If you use the farming method that I suggested above, it should not take you too long. Also, certain skills are given to you for free as part of a starting layout chosen for your character at the time of creation. There are 3 layouts: Striker, Blaster, and Balanced. You will need make a character of each type in order to get all of the starting skills.

Battle In Your Sleep	Bronze	Completed 7 Auto-Patrols!	The servers have to be working properly for you to get this trophy. As you log in and log out with your character, you will sometimes get an Auto-Patrol result screen which indicates what your character has done online while you are not playing. Once your character has completed a total of 7 Auto-Patrols, you will unlock this trophy. If you and a friend take turns playing in the Single Lobby with each others' characters recruited on your teams from your Favorites Lists, you both can just play an easy Parallel Quest 7 times to get the trophy quickly.
Rival To My Dreams	Bronze	Observed 7 battles!	Create an Endless Battle lobby with yourself set as only a spectator. Invite 2 friends into the lobby and watch them battle 7 times. Then, let your friends do the same afterwards (be kind and share the time).
Eyes On The Prize	Bronze	Gathered 500,000 zeni!	Try not to spend any of your money as you play through the game until after you have reached the required amount. That way, you you will obtain the trophy sooner.
Take On All Challengers	Bronze	Participated in Endless Battle 7 times!	This will unlock after you play your 7th Endless Battle.
Online Champion	Silver	Won Endless Battle 7 times!	This will unlock after you win your 7th Endless Battle.
Team Player	Bronze	Revived KO'd allies 7 times in online matches!	It will be easier to unlock this trophy if you work together with friends for it. You an 3 other friends should make 2 teams of 2 and fight against each other in 2 vs 2 Player Matches. Take turns defeating only 1 person on each team and reviving them until you all have performed 7 revivals. The trophy will not unlock until after the battle ends. Due to the time limit on matches, you and your friends may have to play multiple matches until you all unlock the trophy. However, I have personally found that the fastest way to unlock this trophy is to have everyone use Level 1 characters with Captain Ginyu's Holstein Shock skill equipped. Using that skill will make your characters injure themselves to the point that 1 hit can defeat them, thus making the process much faster.
Rainbows Form In Your Eyes	Silver	Friendship levels maximized with all masters!	You will unlock this automatically after completing each master's training. Each of them should be marked with a "Max" for your Play Data.

Walkthrough

Now it is time for the actual walkthrough of the different modes.

Story Mode

This will cover both the main story and bonus story of Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Every time that you complete a saga, you have the opportunity to replay it as many times as you like by visiting the Time Vault inside the Time Nest. You can also simply just rewatch that saga's cutscenes if you wish. Also, every time that you complete a saga, take the time to speak to the NPC named Ziko who stands outside the Time Nest in the Plaza of Time. He will give you a free item each time.

Prologue

The events of the Prologue will introduce you to the plot of Dragon Ball Xenoverse.

Historic Fight
This consists of 3 battles in Dragon Ball Z history: Super Saiyan Goku vs Final Form Frieza, Super Saiyan Goku vs Perfect Cell, and Super Saiyan 3 Goku vs Kid Buu. As these are the beginning battles, they are not too difficult. After the battles, the opening cinematic will play.

Saiyan Saga

Following the opening cinematic, you will be able to create your character. Once you have chosen your character's race, gender (if applicable), appearance, voice, and name, you must choose a starting layout of skills. You can choose between Striker, Blaster, or Balanced. Note: To obtain all skills for the trophies, you will need to create at least 3 characters, each with 1 of the different starting layout types. However, you can only make 1 character right now so choose the layout that best suits your fighting style in DBZ games. When you clear the whole main story, you will be able to make 7 more characters, giving you a total of 8 character slots. Once you have selected your starting layout, your character will appear in Toki Toki City and encounter Future Trunks.

Trunks Test!
Win Conditions: Defeat Future Trunks
Lose Conditions: None

Future Trunks wishes to test your abilities so you will have to fight him and prove yourself. This battle acts as a tutorial to introduce you to the battle system of Xenoverse. Simply read each of the messages that appear and do as they say.

When the battle is over, Future Trunks will explain the situation to you. Following that, you must travel around Toki Toki City and speak to all of the NPC Time Patrollers in each area with question marks over their heads. You should also take the time to speak to Garid, the robot located outside the Time Nest in the Plaza of Time. He has a list of tutorial explanations for you. Once you are finished, report back to Future Trunks to continue the story.

Invasion of Earth! Saiyan Warrior Raditz
Win Conditions: Defeat Raditz
Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted

Your first mission as a member of the Time Patrol is to help Goku and Piccolo defeat Raditz. Since it is 3 vs 1, you should not have too much trouble.

With the mission a success, that era in time has been corrected. Future Trunks will give you a green Old Scouter like Bardock's and tell you to complete your 1st Parallel Quest. Parallel Quest 00 acts as a tutorial to get you used to how they are. You must clear it before you can continue the story. The other current Parallel Quests (as well as all future ones) are optional so you can play them whenever you choose to. Also, you can now go shopping but I suggest that you try to spend as little money as possible until you get 500,000 zeni for the Eyes On The Prize trophy.

Return of the Saiyans Saga

Now it is time to make sure that the battles involving Vegeta and Nappa go their correct course.

Infestation! Saibamen Scourge
Win: Defeat 20 enemies
Lose: Player HP depleted

You will be helping the Z Fighters battle against the Saibamen. They will come at you in waves but after you defeat 20 of them, the mission will be complete.

Arrival of the Saiyan Warriors

At first, you will be fighting Nappa with the help of Piccolo but after Piccolo sacrifices himself to save Gohan, you will be fighting him with Gohan and Krillin;'s help. Eventually, Goku will show up to fight Vegeta and you will be fighting Napa alone. Once you defeat Nappa, help Goku defeat Vegeta and complete the mission.

You will now have to help Goku face Vegeta in his Great Ape form. As you know, a Saiyan's tail is their weak point and luckily, there is a tutorial that teaches you how to exploit that weakness when fighting Great Apes. Do what the tutorial teaches you and you will have no problem defeating Vegeta. Once Vegeta's health gets low enough, Gohan and Krillin will join the battle and Krillin will cut off Vegeta's tail.

Prince's Pride! Limit Battle

This is the last battle against Vegeta. When it is over, the Saiyan Saga will be complete and you will finally meet the Kaioshin of Time that Future Trunks was speaking of before. You will also find that you can now access both Single Lobby and Multi Lobby, allowing you to play the game with other people online. However, you will need to have PlayStation Plus to play the PS4 version of Xenoverse online. Online multiplayer for games is only free on PS3 and PS Vita.

Ginyu Force Saga

Now it is time to move on to the Ginyu Force Saga.

In this battle, you will be facing Captain Ginyu with Vegeta during the 1st phase then later, Recoome will join in but you will have Gohan and Krillin joining you. Personally, I found that since Vegeta will be focusing on Captain Ginyu, it is easier to focus on Recoome so as to keep them separated and make sure that they do not chain any combos together.

Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted

Goku shows up and knocks out Recoome. Now the 2 of you will fight Captain Ginyu together until Jeice and Burter join the fray. Let Goku handle Captain Ginyu while you battle Jeice and Burter. Eventually Captain Ginyu will switch bodies with you by mistake. Keep fighting until Goku asks you to leave to help Gohan and Krillin. One that happens, the battle is over.

Spaceship Sneak Mission as Ginyu
Win Conditions: Defeat 20 enemies
Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted, Ally HP depleted

You have to work as quickly as possible with this mission to ensure that Gohan and Krillin survive. If either of them are defeated, you will have to start over. With that start, move on ahead of them to defeat as many enemies as possible before they encounter them if possible. However, if they end up in danger, immediately return to them and defeat whoever is attacking them. Also, Guldo will appear midway into the battle. Since he is stronger than the other enemies, defeat him as soon as he appears before he gets the chance to hurt Gohan and/or Krillin.

Take Back History and Your Body

Now is the time to get your body back and make history take its proper course. After getting your body back, you will have to battle Captain Ginyu in Goku's body. Guldo will eventually join him but you will have Vegeta on your side along with Goku in Captain Ginyu's body. Defeat both of them and the mission will be complete.

The ones pulling the strings finally show themselves. They are Towa and Mira, the very same villains from Dragon Ball Online. You will be facing off against Mira alone so be on guard as he is quite strong. All you have to do is reduce his health low enough to win. You do not have to defeat him.

Following the battle, you will have a discussion with Future Trunks and Kaioshin of Time about Towa and Mira. Following it will be another Continuum Shift (sorry but I felt like making a BlazBlue reference).

Frieza Saga

It seems that the Continuum Shift involves Frieza this time. Now you must confront him.

Emperor Frieza!
Win Conditions: Reduce Frieza's health to a certain amount
Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted, Goku is defeated

This is the longest battle so far so make sure that you have health recovery capsules equipped before you start. To begin with, you must face off against Frieza in his 1st Form with the help of Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta. Once Frieza's health drops low enough, he will transform directly into his 4th Form, making the battle more difficult. The 2nd time that his health is reduced, Vegeta will be defeated and you will have to fight Frieza again but this time, alone. Goku arrives after you reduce his health again, resulting in you having to reduce Frieza's health once again with Goku's help. Following that, Goku will try to get his Spirit Bomb ready so you have to reduce Frieza's health by yourself again. Afterwards, Goku will launch his Spirit Bomb and the battle will end.

Finally! Raging Super Saiyan

This battle will be quick, especially with Super Saiyan Goku on your side. Give him your support and it will not be a problem to reduce Frieza's health.

The time has finally come to put an end to Frieza. This will be another quick battle. Just help Super Saiyan Goku defeat Frieza at his Full Power.

After the battle, more of the plot begins to unravel as another new character is revealed.

Cell Saga

Now it is time to make sure that the events of the Cell Games happen the way that they are supposed to.

This battle can be a hassle since you have to ensure Hercule's safety. Make sure to keep Cell away from Hercule while at the same time unleashing your big attacks on him so as to reduce his health as quickly as possible.

And now, the unthinkable happens. With Hercule empowered by Towa's dark magic, he becomes quite a formidable foe. It is time to take him Hercule seriously and defeat him. Do not worry about Cell. Super Saiyan Goku will be fighting him.

Continuing where the previous fight left off, you will have to fight Hercule once again while Goku continues to fight Cell. Once you defeat him this time, he will return to normal.

With Gohan fighting against Cell now, you must help the other Z Fighters battle the Cell Jr.s. Make sure that they are not defeated while you are fighting and be careful not to get surrounded yourself. Once half of the Cell Jr.s are defeated, Towa will use her dark magic on Gohan but do not worry. He will not attack you but he will aggressively attack Cell. Just focus on defeating the remaining Cell Jr.s.

Warrior from the Future, Mira!

With the Cell Jr.s taken care of, it is now time to confront Towa and Mira again. This time, Future Trunks will be helping you fight Mira. He is still tough but if you work together, you will win.

After Towa and Mira make their exit, you must hurry back to Gohan and help him finish off Cell once and for all.

Future Android Saga

While the Cell Games have been concluded, there is still unfinished business with the androids of Future Trunks's timeline.

It is time to lend Future Trunks a helping hand against Future 17 and Future 18. Use a divide and conquer strategy by separating 1 of the twins from the other so that they are not double teaming Future Trunks. Once you defeat 1 of the twins, return to Future Trunks to help him defeat the other.

Cell is Here?! Save Trunks!

The battle is not over yet. Now you must help Future Trunks defeat Future Cell who has obtained his Perfect Form, thanks to the other change that Towa had made.

Majin Buu Saga

With Future Trunks's timeline restored to peace and his own life saved, it is now time to fix the changes made in the Buu Saga. You will be confronted by Towa and Mira again when you arrive in that era.

The time has come to settle things with Mira once and for all. Like with the previous 2 battles against him, be careful of his attacks while launching your own against him. When fighting Mira, it is a matter of looking for openings.

Buu Buu! Majin Buu
Win Conditions: Defeat all Majin Buus
Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted

This battle is an endurance test. You will have to keep fighting multiple Majin Buus with Super Saiyan 3 Goku. Be careful as 1 of Majin Buu's super attacks can either slow you down or poison you. Against the Majin Buus, try to use ranged attacks if your character has any equipped. Eventually, Goku will leave the fight because his Super Saiyan 3 transformation will run out, meaning that you will have to fight the endless waves of Majin Buus until Future Trunks asks Buu to wait 2 days to fight Gotenks.

Following the battle, the identity of the person who helped you before is revealed to be Demon God Demigra and he is the one who fought with Kaioshin of Time in the past. With Mira dead and Towa no longer taking action, it seems that Demigra will be the one causing trouble now.

True Enemy! Hypnotized Piccolo

It seems that Demigra is not wasting any time as he has used his dark magic to control Piccolo and make him attack Goten and Present Trunks. You must now help them fight off Piccolo and also defeat Demigra. Focus on defeating Demigra first since he is stronger and you do not want to take the chance of him defeating the boys. Once he is out of the way, you can help knock some sense into Piccolo.

Tah-dah! Majin Buu is Here
Win Conditions: Reduce Super Buu's health to a certain amount
Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted, Ally HP depleted

Despite Demigra's mirage being defeated and returning Piccolo back to his senses, there is no time for rest. Now Super Buu has arrived on the scene. You will have to hold him off until Goten and Present Trunks can fuse into Gotenks. Once they have fused, help Gotenks reduce Super Buu's health and the battle will end.

Endure it! Majin Buu's Barrage

After chasing Super Buu, Gotenks's fusion wears off. Now you must fight against Super Buu with Piccolo's help. After reducing Super Buu's health, Piccolo will leave the battle and Gohan will take his place. Reduce Super Buu's health and he will change into Kid Buu under Demigra's influence. Reduce Kid Buu's health and this battle will finally end.

Attain the Future! Grand Battle
Win Conditions: Defeat Kid Buu
Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted, Ally HP depleted

Kid Buu blows up Earth but you will be transported to the planet of the Kaioshins along with Goku, Vegeta, and Hercule. You must now aid Goku and Vegeta in the final battle against Kid Buu. Once you reduce Kid Buu's health to a certain point, Goku will begin to gather energy for the Spirit Bomb, leaving him a sitting duck that you and Vegeta must protect. Do your best to keep Kid Buu away from Goku while also making sure that Vegeta is not defeated and you will eventually win the battle.

Upon returning to the Time Vault, Future Trunks and Kaioshin of Time discuss what should be done about Demigra.

Hakaishin Beerus Saga

It appears that Demigra is now trying to interfere with the events of Battle of Gods now.

You will have to reduce Beerus's health in this battle, which he happens to have a lot of. You will start out with Majin Buu and Piccolo helping you, followed by Gohan and Gotenks, followed by Vegeta. Once Beerus's health drops to a certain amount, Goku will join the battle in his Super Saiyan God form. At this point, Beerus's health will be restored and you will have to work with Goku to reduce it again.

Demigra's Plot?! Stop Beerus

Continuing from the last battle, you must reduce Beerus's health again with the help of Super Saiyan God Goku.

Quite the interesting turn of events has happened. With Beerus on your side, it is time to punish Demigra for his actions.

Following the battle, Beerus and Whis will tag along with you back to the Time Nest, much to Future Trunks and Kaioshin of Time's surprise. Beerus wishes to destroy Demigra but Future Trunks asks that you and he would be allow to take care of Demigra. Whis suggests testing you and Future Trunks to see if that task should be left up to the both of you.

Now is the time for you and Future Trunks to prove yourselves worthy in the eyes of Beerus. Work together to defeat him and Whis. Be careful that they do not attack either of you together and be mindful of how much health that they both have.

Demon God Demigra Saga

It is time for the final saga of the main story to unfold. Demigra has finally made his escape and you must stop him.

Total Chaos! Rival Rumble

This is 1 of the toughest battles you will have to face so make sure that you have health recovery capsules equipped before you start. Demigra has brought back Frieza, Cell, and Kid Buu under the control of his dark magic, making them much stronger than when they were under the influence of Towa's dark magic. To make matters worse, you will be facing them alone. Luckily, once you reduce their health low enough, Goku will arrive to lend you a helping hand. However, you still have to be careful in this battle. After you defeat Frieza, Cell, and Kid Buu, you will have to fight more enemies controlled by Demigra's dark magic: Vegeta, Gohan, and Gotenks. The key to this whole battle is to make sure that Goku does not get defeated once he appears so that you have help against everyone. If you see Goku in trouble, go to his aid. At the same, try to keep your opponents separated from each other so that they cannot ambush Goku, or you for the matter.

Siege on Tokitoki! Awakened Demigra
Win Conditions: Defeat all enemies
Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted

It is time to face the real Demigra this time instead of his mirages from the previous battles. This battle will be easier compared to the one you just fought but sill be on guard. Once you reduce Demigra's health halfway, he will use his dark magic on Future Trunks and make him fight you. With Demigra's health already halfway depleted, just focus on finishing him off first like in the battle against his mirage and Piccolo. Afterwards, defeat Future Trunks. Once you free Future Trunks from Demigra's control, you will have to fight a fully recovered Demigra. Reduce his health halfway again and Goku will join the fray. After you and Goku defeat Demigra again, the battle with end.

Defend History! Unknown Battle
Win Conditions: Defeat Demon God Demigra
Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted

Demigra has transformed and you will be facing him alone. This the final battle of the main story so do your best. How well you do in this battle will determine whether you get the normal ending or the secret ending. The normal ending triggers when a certain amount of time passes and your health drops low enough. You will know that you are locked into the normal ending when Goku shows up to help you finish off Demigra. If he does not, there is still a chance for you to get the secret ending but you have to defeat Demigra quickly and with your most of your health preserved. With that said, I suggest replaying this battle after you get 1 ending so that you can get the other.

Bonus Story: Legendary Super Saiyan Saga

After clearing the main story, you must collect all 5 Time Chasm Crystal Shards in order to play through this bonus story. You obtain the 1st after clearing the main story and the 2nd from an NPC named Recon who stands outside the Time Nest in the Plaza of Time. The remaining 3 can be obtained from certain Parallel Quests as drops. Once you have collected all of them, report back to Future Trunks to begin this bonus story.

Last Moments... Goku's Father, Bardock
Win Conditions: Defeat 15 enemies, Reduce Frieza's health to a certain amount
Lose Conditions: Player HP depletes, Bardock HP depletes

You have to help Bardock fight off Frieza's henchmen, followed by Frieza himself. By the point, you should have no difficulty defeating the henchment and reducing Frieza's health. However, it is important that you keep Bardock safe. If he is defeated, the mission is a failure. With that said, stay close to Bardock and help him defeat Frieza's henchmen 1 by 1. Then, when Frieza appears, focus your attacks on him since he will do the most damage. In time, the battle will end.

Legendary Super Saiyan Broly
Win Conditions: Defeat Broly
Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted, Ally HP depleted

Now you must face off against Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan. Help Goten, Present Trunks and Videl reduce Broly's health. Eventually, Gohan will come to take Videl's place in the battle. Keep working with Gohan, Goten, and Present Trunks to defeat Broly. The key to winning this battle is to protect everyone while also being careful of Broly's attacks. He is very powerful and does not flinch from normal attacks. Look for openings to hit him with your ultimate attacks.

Fierce Battle! Broly VS Bardock
Win Conditions: Reduce Broly's health to a certain amount or A certain amount of time passes
Lose Conditions: Player HP depletes, Bardock HP depletes

You must help Bardock battle against Broly. Your main objective is to make sure that Bardock survives. As long as you do that, you will win the battle either by reducing Broly's health low enough or by enough time passing by through stalling. Personally, I recommend trying to reduce Broly's health as quickly as possible rather than waiting for time to run out.

Power of the Low-class Warrior
Win Conditions: Defeat Broly
Lose Conditions: Player HP depleted, Ally HP depleted

It it time to bring this battle against Broly to an end. Once again, reduce Broly's health. Eventually, Bardock meets up with Vegeta and has him create a Power Ball to help him change into a Great Ape. With Great Ape Bardock on your side, reduce Broly's health some more. Vegeta will now join the fight to help you as well. Finish off Broly and that will be the end of the bonus story. All that is left is to watch the final scenes.
